Thank you John. It's certainly an interesting game, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
After running the game, I dug out my copy of Trollbabe again and have started re-reading it. I've always liked it, but I think I understand the system a bit better from running Stranger Things. Go figure.
John,
Play-tested this weekend. Sort of glad I didn't read all this stuff first. I will post to the forge hopefully Monday. Don't want to give too much away, but all in all - AWESOME
It is only a matter of time now before Stranger Things rocketh the world.
The Actual Play threads are absolutely amazing.
And I've discoverd Trollbabe, this game's horned mother, which is a pleasure to behold.
Now posted in actual play at the forge. LEt me know what you think John.
Judd: Cool! I'm glad you found your way to Trollbabe. It's the bomb.
Roger: RAD. I shall go and read.
I randomly found Stranger Things on the Forge, and am heavily interested. I have to admit I'm piqued by the Actual Play and how the system works with the city you've created for it. I'm going to have to get Trollbabe just to see the some of the system.
But I really really want to see Stranger Things!
Would it be possible to request some materials to try it for a demo at a local Gameday?

Sure, Mark. Send me your email address: oneseven(at)gmail(dot)com.
Okay, so how are things progressing on this game? I've been waiting for a (seemingly) long time for Danger Patrol, what's the ETA for Stranger Things?
You've actually been *waiting* for Danger Patrol? Wow. It's been... what... eight years? You've got moxie.
I'm going to announce the official release date of Stranger Things next week. I really, really want it to be Halloween, and we just might make it.
But you'll know the exact date by next Monday. Promise.
